Quick Steps to program Geneie remote to work with your TV, Genie mini and home audio system.
Step 1.
On Genie remote Press MENU button, select Settings and choose Remote Control.
Step 2.
On the screen highlight and select Pair/Program Remote.

Follow the on-screen wizard.
How to program Genie remote to control HDTV and audio devices.
Step 1.
Point the remote at Genie Mini, Genie HD DVR or Wireless Genie Mini.
Step 2.
Press and hold the MUTE button and ENTER buttons together. When the green light at the top of the remote blinks twice,let go off the MUTE and ENTER button.

Your TV screen will display Applying IR/RF setup, you are in RF mode and ready to program the Genie remote.

How to Program Genie remote manually for your HDTV or audio device
Step 1.
Point the remote at your Genie HD DVR, Genie Mini, or Wireless Genie Mini.
Step 2.
Press and hold the MUTE button and ENTER buttons together. When the green light at the top of the remote blinks twice,let go off the MUTE and ENTER button.
Step 3.
Enter the code 961 using your Genie Remote control.
Step 4.
Press the channel up button once and then Press Enter.
Step 5.
When the TV screen shows Your Remote is now setup for RF then press OK.
Step 6.
Switch on the HDTV or audio device you want your remote to control.
Step 7.
On Genie remote Press MENU button, select Settings, choose Remote Control and then Program Remote.

Step 1.
Point the remote at Genie Mini or Wireless Genie Mini or Genie HD DVR.
Step 2.
Press and hold the MUTE button and ENTER buttons together. When the green light at the top of the remote blinks twice,let go off the MUTE and ENTER button.
Step 3.
